In a twinkling of an eye everything will change. All believers will meet the Lord in the air, and we’re going up together. We will see Christians who didn’t believe in the Rapture on our way up. We’ll see people from churches which did away with the dignity of God’s message and His music. Even Christians who didn’t live a godly life will be taken up. Good Christians, bad Christians, and every Christian in between will be a part of the Rapture.

I realize this begs the question, “If everyone who is born again will go to Heaven regardless of how they’ve lived, then why serve Christ?” The answer is simple: If you don’t serve, you won’t get any rewards. How would you like to spend eternity with nothing to show for your service on Earth? Most importantly, souls won’t be in Heaven that you could have witnessed to had you lived a life of purity on the earth.

I’d hate to miss out on a heavenly crown on account of cheap earthly pursuits. Yet I’m afraid this is what many Christians will face in Heaven because they didn’t take Christ and His commandments seriously.

If you haven’t been serving Christ like you should, I want to give you some good news—there’s no better time to start serving Him than right now. But I also want to warn you this could be your last chance to make your life count for Christ. Don’t put it off.

Are you living for selfish pleasure, or do you really want to please God? God knows the truth. At that glorious moment when you see Jesus, the things of Earth will all be past, and only what you did for Christ will last.

Has this world been so kind to you that you should leave with regret? There are better things ahead than any we leave behind. — C.S. Lewis
