Today’s Scripture: Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39

Have you ever felt like you’re good for nothing, worthless, and will never amount to anything great for Christ? Have you reached a point where you can’t even see your assets for your liabilities?

The Philippian Christians may have been at this point. Some of them might have been discouraged about their Christian walk. Paul wanted to encourage them to keep going for the Lord. Paul essentially said, “You haven’t seen anything yet! God has so much more in store for you!” Likewise, Paul exhorts Christians today to continue, resisting the urge to give up or give in due to limited spiritual growth. That work which the Lord has started in your life will accomplish the end He has intended for it in due time.

Friend, God sees you and me totally different than we see ourselves. What we see as an obstacle, God views as a stepping stone to move us forward. We see our failures; God sees the testimonies that result.

Every pessimist has a B-Negative blood type. Instead, you must choose to be positive and allow God to work in your life, molding it into something beautiful in His eyes. All of us are like the bumper sticker which says, “Please Be Patient, God Is Not Finished with Me Yet!” We are all a work in progress, but God qualifies us and equips us for His service.

I encourage you to begin to see yourself as your Creator sees you — as beautiful in His eyes.
