Today’s Scripture: If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? Luke 12:28

Can you think back to times in your life when you decided to step out on faith? As you recall those times, do you see how God has blessed your life since that point? The word “faith” is a word that is rightly attributed to the Bible patriarch, Abraham. More than anything else, he saw God for Who He really is.

Hebrews 11:19 says, “Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.” Even if Abraham had gone ahead and sacrificed Isaac, he knew that God would have to raise him from the dead because He had told him that through his son, Isaac, all nations would be blessed.

Is there some situation in your life where you feel like doubting the goodness of God? Do you need to believe God right now? It’s been said that faith is believing what God says simply because it is God Who says it. Someone else said, “It is impossible for faith to overdraw its account in God’s bank.”

“Doubt sees the obstacles;

Faith sees the way.

Doubt sees the darkest night;

Faith sees the day.

Doubt dreads to take a step;

Faith soars on high.

Doubt questions, ‘Who believes?’

Faith answers, ‘I’.”
