How do we learn to crave the consecrated? When you consistently go to church, you will find yourself in a position to grow in Christ. When you prioritize your relationship with God, your mind will have a much greater chance of staying focused on what is really important.

2 Timothy 2:15  explains, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Thomas Watson asks the following question, “How shall we know that we love the reproofs of the Word?” His answer:

“When we desire to sit under a heart-searching ministry. Who cares for medicines that will not work? A godly man does not choose to sit under a ministry that will not work upon his conscience.”

J.C. Ryle said, “The Bible applied to the heart by the Holy Spirit is the chief means by which men are built up and established in the faith after their conversion.”

Make time for Bible study and prayer! Your life will bear fruit and you will experience happiness, peace, and joy. When you learn to crave the things of God, you will begin looking for what God has for you rather than what the world offers. This will change your outlook. Crave the consecrated today.
