Answer — Jesus died to save everyone. A great verse to consider is John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
This verse does not say, “Whosoever of the elect,” or “Whosoever of the chosen few.” It simply says “whosoever.”
Another great verse to look at is John 12:32, And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. The Lord did not say, “I will draw some men unto me,” or “I will only draw the elect unto me.” We can take great joy in the fact that He says, “all men.”
Jesus gave His life that all may be saved. Everyone is given a free choice and no man is turned away from accepting Christ as Savior. Anyone who places his trust in Christ’s shed blood on the cross can have peace because he is saved for all eternity. Once we accept Christ, we can never lose our salvation. We are saved by grace and kept by grace.
