Today’s Scripture: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16

Fanny Crosby had such a fascination with the story of Jesus, that she wrote this beautiful hymn that has blessed so many people.

Tell me the story of Jesus,
Write on my heart every word.
Tell me the story most precious,
Sweetest that ever was heard.
Tell how the angels in chorus,
Sang as they welcomed His birth.
Glory to God in the highest!
Peace and good tidings to earth.

Fasting alone in the desert,
Tell of the days that are past.
How for our sins He was tempted,
Yet was triumphant at last.
Tell of the years of His labor,
Tell of the sorrow He bore.
He was despised and afflicted,
Homeless, rejected and poor.

Tell of the cross where they nailed Him,
Writhing in anguish and pain.
Tell of the grave where they laid Him,
Tell how He liveth again.
Love in that story so tender,
Clearer than ever I see.
Stay, let me weep while you whisper,
Love paid the ransom for me.

Do you know the story of Jesus? If so, do you love the story of Jesus? After all, it saved you. If you love the story of Jesus, you should tell it to people. If someone were to tell you a story that you really liked, what do you naturally do? You tell that story to the next person you have a chance to tell.

The story of Jesus should be the same way. If you love the story, you will want to talk to somebody about it. Why not share the story of His life, death, and resurrection to someone you know today?
