Today’s Scripture: I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. Psalm 145:1-3

Dear Chicken Little,

The end is near. Buy as many canned goods as possible. A big supply of water is a must. Batten down the hatches. Have an underground bunker and a gas mask ready. By the way, the sky is falling soon…I mean the end of the world was supposed to happen several years ago in 2000…but really the sky is getting ready to fall this time. I hope that you have prepared yourself for the impending doom that each day could bring. After all, one never knows when the sky could fall so, be ready at all times. Don’t even leave the house. I included batteries for your flashlight, your nightlight, and your home-made generator.

Good luck,

The Energizer Bunny

Believe it or not, some people really do run around this planet like a scared, little chicken that teamed up with the Energizer Bunny. Have you ever seen people who are always prepared for the worst instead of living prepared to enjoy God’s best? The Lord is not waiting to snatch the rug out from under us when it comes to our future or the moment in which we are living right now.

Friend, let me share something with you that I have experienced over and over again. Sometimes good things fall apart to make way for God’s best to come together in your life. You may have lost your job, you may have been hurt by a friend, or you may be in a situation you never wanted to go through. God’s way is perfect and is always best.

Don’t let your circumstance drag you down. Your God is bigger, better, and stronger than anything this life can throw at you. The sky is not falling, and your world is not coming to an end. Turn that frown upside down and look up. Your God owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He will only give you the best blessings. Don’t let your tears triumph over your joy. Bring your pain to God and let Him turn it into a strength you could have never developed on your own. It is time to stand in His power and show that God can get the best out of EVERY situation no matter how painful.
