The death of a spouse and all that leads up to that moment, can be a time of great confusion, loneliness, exhaustion and lack of focus for the new widow. Each of these emotions and the uncertainties involved come together at a critical time when all of life is changing. This booklet tells of the challenges that seven women faced in their journey through bereavement and into widowhood. Each story is different, and throughout each chapter, the women share the lessons they learned in everything from making nursing home decisions, hospice care, handling finances, life-support, planning a funeral and taking the next step into widowhood. In retrospect, each woman looks at how God made a way during a time when she was at a loss of how to take that next step.  I relate my personal journey with the added perspectives of the other women. It is written by women and for women to help, comfort and encourage other women who need to take difficult steps before and after the death of their spouse.
